Monday (March 30th) (Remember we have an 11am ZOOM call to see everyone)
1.) Watch Miss Leary's Phonemic Awareness Video below. Follow along.
2.) Pull out you Living History Journal, watch the video below and write for ten minutes. Make sure your parent/guardian takes a picture of your journal and sends it to me via Remind.
3.) Pull out your Handout 19B Prepositional Phrases and follow along with the video below as we practice and work our way to having them all memorized (you guys rock).
4.) Pull out your English Notebook and turn to the page you have been writing your "Commonly Used Roots, Prefixes & Suffixes. Today we will focus on "auto". Watch the video, then add the new word. Make sure to pause the video if you need to see the screen.
5) Go to and practice your Commonly Used Roots, Prefixes & Suffixes. There are many different ways to practice. If you get one wrong, no worries, it's just practice.
6.) Listen to Miss Leary read the Epilogue and Afterword from "Woods Runner" by Gary Paulsen.
7.) Go to the "Book Club" page that is at the top of the site and pick out what book you want to read. Listen to the first chapter of your book by clicking the button that says what chapter under the book you've selected.
7.) For Studies Weekly, go ahead and pick your next week to work on. You have already done two weeks, so pick one more that you will do this week. Next week will be the final week that we will use Studies Weekly.
